A special thanks to our guests...

Another great year

In spite of the obvious challenges in 2020 we’ve been able to look back on our last season and super mix of both UK and European guests with much pleasure.

It was our tenth year at La Flotte and we love it now as much as we did the day we arrived.  We think fondly of the lovely families and couples who returned to La Flotte for yet another gite holiday last year and of course those who came for the very first time. Everyone enjoyed a week or two of rest, relaxation or plenty of activity!  From cycling down to the boulangerie and harbour in Mortagne, to fishing in the lake or becoming regulars at the many local Atlantic beaches and beach bars.

Have a look at the comments on  La Flotte in Tripadvisor or Air B&B if you have a moment.  Meanwhile, Amanda and I look forward to hearing from you about 2021 and beyond.  Just complete the enquiry form on the website as usual and we will come back to you right away.  We much hope you and your families have a safe and peaceful year.

Short breaks too

For guests wanting to take a shorter break, maybe for a long weekend away from the UK or Northern Europe using the inexpensive budget airlines, we’ve installed an impressive log-burner into the the Old Bakery, our one bedroom gite.  Plenty of logs supplied of course for a modest supplement.

In addition to the log burner we've turned some of the land into a paddock opposite the Old Bakery to provide a couple who like to travel with horses (2 maximum) extra accommodation.  With the many bridleways in the area it's easy to stay for a few days and enjoy this region on horseback.

We very much look forward to welcoming you to La Flotte.
